Have you lost your valuables like ID Card, Credit Card, Keyring, Chequebook, Certificates or Documents? Then your first legal duty to file a General Diary (Popularly known as GD) to your nearest Police station.

A simple General Diary Drafting Sample for Lost Property. If you have lost any property that is valuable or impotent to you in order to search or recover you need to file a GD in the nearest police station (where it is lost), it must be remembered that you need to file it as soon as it comes to your knowledge, you should mention the reason for being late to file a GD too (in case you are).

Dear Sir,

That today, on __________, at around 4 p.m I took a bus named ATCL from Gulistan Bus Stand towards the City College Bus stand. Thereafter, I have arrived at around 5.00 p.m. in the City College Bus stand and subsequently, I took a rickshaw to go to my chamber at House no. __________, Road No. __________, Dhanmondi R/A, Dhaka -1207. Thereafter, I have started to see my patients. Subsequently, at around 8.00 p.m., I have found that an envelope which was in my right side of my pant pocket has been lost, Where in there was a Cheque bearing an amount of TK. _________ /- (Taka __________  ) in my name being the Cheque No. __________ dated __________, of __________ Bank Limited, __________ Branch, Dhaka, and two other papers were also in that envelope

 

In the circumstances, I hereby kindly request you to take necessary steps regarding their said matter and entry the said matter as a general Diary with your police Station and oblige me thereby.
