Difference between Investigation, inquiry and trial

Investigation: All the proceeding under the code for collection of evidence conducted by police officer or any other person (other then a magistrate) who is authorized by the magistrate. Section 4 (1) CrPC

Inquiry: Including every inquiry other then a trial, conducted under this code (CrPC) by a megistrate

Trial: Trial began with the framing of Charge and ends with the pronouncement of Judgment. (As described by Bangladesh supreme Court)
